Built for ADHD brains, by people who needed it

Time-blindness, task-initiation paralysis, decision fatigue: three reasons we built weekkii the way we did.

If you have ADHD, you already know the standard productivity-app failure mode: you set up the perfect system in a dopamine rush on a Sunday afternoon, you use it for three days, you forget to look at it on the fourth, and a week later it feels like a witness to a person you couldn't quite be.

We didn't build weekkii to fix ADHD. Nothing in software fixes ADHD. We built it to remove the friction that the most common planner patterns add to brains that already have enough friction. Three things matter most:

Time-blindness. The further out a deadline is, the less it exists. A weekly grid, with the seven days laid out in space, makes the next few days physically visible. "Wednesday" stops being a label and becomes a column. You can see how full it already is.

Task-initiation paralysis. You sit down to plan, you open the app, and you face a Today list of 27 unranked items. It's overwhelming. weekkii has an inbox below the week. Anything you don't know where to put goes there. You're not forced to date or prioritize at the moment of capture. The friction at write-time is gone, and that's the moment that actually matters for someone who's already pushing through resistance to even open the app.

Decision fatigue. We don't ask you to choose between four kinds of priority, six possible reminders, three project taxonomies, and a weekly review template. Pick a day or don't. Pick a tag or don't. The number of decisions per task is small enough that capture stays cheap.

We're not done. weekkii ships gentle local push notifications (no server-side reads: your phone schedules them on its own), printable PDF weeks for people who like analog overlays, and a rollover that quietly carries today's incomplete tasks forward at midnight so nothing gets lost in yesterday's column. v2 brings on-device habit streaks and Frames-style time-block templates for shift workers.

If you have ADHD and you've been let down by every other to-do app, we get it. Try weekkii for a week. Cancel any time. Tell us what's still in the way.
