Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of weekkii (the "Service"), operated by FestivLabs. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
weekkii is an end-to-end encrypted weekly to-do app available on web, iOS, and Android. We provide hosting, sync, and account management; you are responsible for the content you create and your master passphrase.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA). You must provide a valid email and keep your sign-in codes private. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Notify us at the address below if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Master passphrase & lost data
Your content is encrypted with a key derived from your master passphrase. We have no copy of your passphrase or your derived key. If you forget your passphrase, your content is permanently unrecoverable. This is a deliberate consequence of zero-knowledge encryption.
4. Subscriptions, billing & trials
Paid plans (Pro, Lifetime) are processed by Dodo Payments, which is the Merchant of Record and handles payment, taxes, and invoices. Pro plans auto-renew until cancelled; Lifetime is a one-time payment. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to violate the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, abuse our infrastructure (e.g. excessive automated traffic, attempts to bypass rate limits or quotas), or attempt to break the Service's security. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.
6. Your content
You retain all rights to your tasks. You grant us only the limited license needed to store and sync your encrypted content so the Service can function. Because content is encrypted client-side, we cannot moderate, index, or read it.
7. Service changes & availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change, or remove features. Material breaking changes will be announced in advance where reasonably possible.
8. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms or for prolonged inactivity, with notice where reasonably possible. On termination, encrypted content is deleted within 30 days.
9. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FESTIVLABS' AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) USD $50. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST DATA RESULTING FROM A LOST MASTER PASSPHRASE.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FestivLabs from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our registered place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
